Day 14

Lunch with Neil and went to Greg's opening. It was very successful and he didn't really need me so I went into the Art Gallery, braving the hordes heading to the Grand Prix.

The Art Gallery has a wonderful historical Chinese display (no Longshan blackware I could find though) as well as Greek Attic ware.

(photos not from Art Gallery, glass too reflective)

But the thing I always forget is the burnished red and black Egyptian ceramics. Just how simple and timeless they are, but how old.

  1. Reflective glass cases - take the photo on quite an angle to the glass.
Carol Diebel and I used to do this for photos in an aquarium.
