Day 10

Been working on the cone idea and made some bowls with the negative image profile of the cones and turned grooves inside for the first time.

Cool huh?

But the best part of the day was connecting up with Wal Ambrose (Graham's brother) who took me to lunch at Boffins in University house with Jane Kennedy and Stuart Bedford, all of whom are authorities on Lapita pottery of which I only have a little dangerous learning.

Was amazing to listen to them Jane knows a lot about black fired ceramics from Thailand and Burma from around 1000BC. Watch this space.
